Sabrina Stratford, Business Development Manager

11 months at Ephesoft

As a native Texan who moved to Colorado 30 years ago, Sabrina considers herself a “Texaradoan” with strong roots in both states. Early in her career, she started out as a machinist, working in a machine shop for a Texas oil field. However, she quickly learned that wearing steel-tipped boots wasn’t part of her destiny, so she was hired in her first computer sales job in the trucking industry. From there, she grew in her role and ended up in the capture software industry – OpenText, Sagemcom and Kofax – in both marketing and sales roles.

At Ephesoft, Sabrina’s role as Business Development Manager is dedicated to building strategic partnerships and alliances with key technology partners like Infor, Box, Nintex, K2, Microsoft and others. Ephesoft’s content capture solution is used as an onramp for data into these solutions, so customers can easily access and manage their data. She helps educate and rhapsodize digital transformation and sales teams about the benefits of automating their document processes for mutual success.

One of Sabrina’s strengths is building strategic, genuine relationships and finding creative ways to build upon success. In her business development role at Ephesoft, she explained, “The best part of my job is that I get to touch all departments. Every relationship I make helps multiply success.” Similarly, she expressed that the one Ephesoft core company value, “Be a Multiplier,” is what she identifies with the most.

“There’s a mindset at Ephesoft, which is to do your best. We get to be our own creative person with executive help to remove any roadblocks,” stated Sabrina. “There are smart people in the right roles at Ephesoft.” She also appreciates how her business development team is encouraged to challenge the status quo, think out-of-the-box and get things done.

As with any job, there are always challenges to overcome. Working with partners can sometimes dilute messages and capabilities about Ephesoft’s software. Similar to the childhood game of “telephone,” perceptions of what AI and supervised machine learning can do can get altered. Therefore, her motto is “undersell and over deliver.”

Sabrina embraces life and her work with passion and drive. In her spare time, she’s an avid fly fisher, enjoys hiking and live music. She is close with her twin sisters in Texas and enjoys spending time with her son Cole who lives in Denver.
