New sales leader strengthens Ephesoft with his direct and channel sales experience and dynamic ideas for the partner network.

Irvine, Calif.—Sept. 04, 2019—Ephesoft, Inc., an industry leader in enterprise content capture and data discovery solutions, announced today that James Adie has been appointed as Vice President, EMEA Sales.

“We are very pleased to welcome James Adie as VP EMEA Sales, especially as we gear up for the near future with industry-changing innovations, expansion and explosive growth,” said Ike Kavas, founder and CEO of Ephesoft. “James’ experience in the EMEA solutions market will help us reach our goals and gain a new perspective. Ephesoft’s strong network of strategic partners will profit from his knowledge and influence and thus drive even more value.”

Adie brings years of experience to Ephesoft. Since 2017, he has managed the EMEA Solution business for Kodak Alaris, where he successfully developed several new sales playbooks and drove a successful EMEA sales enablement and best practices program. James enjoyed success as the UK Sales Director for Finance Process Automation at Lexmark/Kofax, winning the Kofax Global Sales Management Award in 2016 for a record-breaking sales performance. Thereafter, he was promoted to an EMEA Sales management role for Finance Process Automation.

“This is a great time to join Ephesoft at a pivotal moment for our industry. Although Ephesoft is not strictly a start-up anymore there is a “start-up” vibe with a real “can-do” attitude and business agility that gives us a competitive edge. Ephesoft’s core values that resonate most are “Builders and Fixers Wanted” and “Own It”. These core values are very close to my heart,” said Adie. “As the sales leader, I am fortunate to have inherited a strong team that consists of a healthy mix of experience and energy.

“I hope to not only lend the team and our channel partners my experience but also to listen and act on their ideas and enthusiasm. We are investing in a robust partner enablement program to ensure our partners have the technical and sales skills needed to service the customer base in EMEA,” Adie continued. The new strategy will be complemented by a business development program to target lead generation for both sell through and sell with partner strategies as appropriate. The company is also focusing on further developing its System Integrator channel in EMEA. As Ephesoft’s partner program continues to grow, Adie encourages new partners to join and expand their business as we help customers tackle their document and unstructured data challenges. Prior to Kofax, Adie worked in the document service sector for many years. He was EMEA Sales & Marketing VP for a document management and workflow solutions ISV. He also worked for Computer Associates (CA) and with IBM. Adie received an BA in Economics and started his early career in finance, banking and management consultancy before he moved to IT Sales in 1993.
