This page describes how to import and export index fields in Ephesoft Transact. These steps are intended for Transact Administrators.
Introduction
Importing index fields keeps all configurations and test extraction files from the original index field. This can be helpful for the following use cases:
- When adding a common index field to a document type.
- When migrating Transact environments.
- When testing and debugging index fields in a test environment.
Exporting Index Fields
This section describes how to export index fields. Exported index fields are saved as a ZIP file containing the complete index field hierarchy (figure 1) and its configurations.
