Root Cause
The PDF file may be encrypted.
- Open the PDF file and view the security information (in Adobe Acrobat, go to File > Properties > Security).
- Under Document Security, look for the following message: “All contents of the document are encrypted and search engines cannot access the document’s metadata.”
Ephesoft cannot process these types of documents.
Refer to Supported File Types for Import for a complete list of supported file types.
