Error “Invalid Ephesoft License” Occurs When Upgrading Core Capacity

Issue

When upgrading the number of cores for servers in a multi-server environment, Transact should prevent user login if the environmental core capacity exceeds that specified in the license. Instead, batches assigned to that server go into error with the message “Invalid Ephesoft license”.

Workaround

To prevent this issue, expand your environment to match your license count, or increase your license count to match your environment. You can submit a new license request from the Customer Support Portal.
