Exception Occurred While Custom Job Acquisition

Applies to: All versions of Ephesoft Transact


The following exception is repeatedly logged:

2018-03-23 15:06:35,379 [ERROR] [Thread-30] [com.ephesoft.dcma.workflows.service.engine.impl.EphesoftAcquireJobsCmdImpl] - Exception occurred while custom job acquisition
com.ephesoft.dcma.core.exception.DCMAApplicationException: The job <<Identified>> has already been processed

Root Cause

This issue is caused by a job stuck and entry present in act_ru_job table.


  1. Go to act_ru_job table in the Ephesoft database.
  2. Look for entry  <<Identifier>> from the logs in the table
  3. Remove this row from the table.
