Issue

OCR search and selection is not available in PDF export.

Solution

Perform the following steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Ensure the CREATEMULTIPAGE_FILES plugin is added to the Export module for your batch class.
  2. In the CREATEMULTIPAGE_FILES plugin, ensure the following options are configured:
    • Searchable Output PDF is set to TRUE.
    • Multipage File Export Process is set to one of the following:
      • ITEXT-SEARCHABLE
      • RECOSTAR (only available in versions 4.5.0.0 or above)
