How to Regenerate the details.properties for Licensing and MAC Address Changes

Issue

If you need a new Transact license and your server MAC address has changed, you will need to submit the request along with the new details.properties file for the server (or all nodes in a cluster) to tickets@ephesoft.com. This procedure will create a new details.properties file with the latest mac address information.

Solution

Follow the instructions below to regenerate the details.properties file.

  1. Navigate to the details.properties file.
  2. Recreate the file by running the full.bat file
