Issue

Importing PDF files that contain XFA content may result in an error during the Folder Import module.

Root Cause

Transact does not support PDF XFA at Folder Import.

Solution

With Transact 2022.1.0, support for non-dynamic PDF XFA flattening during Folder Import was added. Read More at How To Add additional File types in Folder-Import.

For versions prior to 2020.1.06, you can evaluate the PDF PreProcessor Plugin in our Ephesoft Labs repository, which provides the option to flatten PDF XFA formats for successful TIF conversion.
