Getting Started

Submit Your Invoices

To get started with submitting your invoices, you will need to locate your tenant email address.

  1. Log into Semantik Invoice with the login credentials and URL provided in your onboarding email.
  2. Click Settings > Import Setup.
  3. Copy the Forward All Documents To email address. This email address will forward your invoices into Semantik Invoice.

After locating your tenant email, follow these steps to submit your invoices:

  1. In your email inbox, compose a new email draft.
  2. Attach your invoice files. The following file types are supported:
    • PNG
    • JPEG
    • PDF
      • Portable Document Format (1.x to 2.0)
      • Portable Document Format for Archiving (PDF/A 1, 2, 3)
    • TIFF
  1. Paste the Forward All Documents To email address as the recipient.
  2. Send the email. Semantik Invoice automatically processes the files and loads them into the Dashboard.

You can view your assigned invoices by selecting the Assigned to Me tab (figure 2).

Claim Your Invoices

Submitted invoices are automatically loaded in the All Invoices tab in the Dashboard.

You can view user assignments in this tab. All the invoices sent to the domain email are available for any user in your tenant to claim. Once invoices are claimed by a user, they are no longer available for others to claim.

To claim your invoices, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Claim Invoices to assign the 10 oldest invoices in the system to yourself.
  2. Your claimed invoices display in the Assigned to Me tab. An example is shown below.

After you claim your invoices, you are redirected to the Review screen. You are now ready to review the extracted data from your invoices.

Review and Validate Your Invoices

Perform the following steps to review invoices:

  1. Edit the values in the Extraction Results tab.

The confidence value represents the accuracy of the extracted result compared to the value on the invoice. For example, the Invoice Number has a 97% confidence value.

  1. Click Mark As Reviewed & Next.
  2. Repeat this process for your claimed invoices.

Export Your Data

Completed invoices are available for download as PDFs in the Assigned to Me and All Invoices tabs.

  1. Go to the Dashboard.

  1. Hover over the selected invoice and click the download icon. This downloads a PDF of the selected invoice.

This completes an overview of the workflow for Semantik Invoice.
