This option is available in the <strong>Additional Configurations<\/strong> dropdown list on the <strong>Table Columns<\/strong> screen. By default, this field is left unchecked so that all table columns will be visible on the <strong>Validation<\/strong> screen.<\/p>\n<p>Once you mark any column as hidden:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It will not be displayed on the <strong>Validation<\/strong> screen<\/li>\n<li>It will be excluded from the list of available table columns on the <strong>Table Validation Rules<\/strong> screen as well as from the dropdown list of auto-suggested table columns if you are using the <strong>AUTO_TABLE_EXTRACTION<\/strong> plugin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you choose to hide all columns, the <strong>Table View<\/strong> of the <strong>Validation<\/strong> screen will be disabled altogether and it will not be possible to define or apply any table validation rule.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the values in hidden columns will be extracted and saved in the batch.xml file for the running batch along with all other values (path: EphesoftSharedFoldersfinal-drop-folder).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Configuring the Hidden table column feature<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Open or create a Batch Class.<\/p>\n<p>2. Create a <strong>Document Type<\/strong> and upload a <strong>Learn<\/strong> file.<\/p>\n<p>3. In your Batch Class, configure the table for the Document Type by adding the table columns, creating table extraction rules, and, if required, table validation rules. Go to the <strong>Upload Batch<\/strong> screen, upload the file, select the batch, and click <strong>Start Batch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>7.
