These steps are intended for Transact administrators.<\/p>\n<h2>Introduction<\/h2>\n<p>Importing document types keeps all configurations and learned files from the original document type. This can be helpful for the following use cases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When adding a common document type to a batch class.<\/li>\n<li>When migrating Transact environments.<\/li>\n<li>When testing and debugging document types in a test environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a id=\"post-31893-_3znysh7\"><\/a>Exporting Document Types<\/h2>\n<p>This section describes how to export document types.
