Note the following details about this batch class:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The download package contains a sample Ephesoft Transact batch class.<\/li>\n<li>Log into Ephesoft Transact as an Administrator.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <strong>Batch Class Management<\/strong> screen to import the Ephesoft batch class that you downloaded from the <strong>Getting Started<\/strong> resource cited earlier.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><a id=\"post-34225-_aoj99leyjsda\"><\/a>UiPath Activities Overview<\/h2>\n<p>This section provides the following examples of how to use Ephesoft Transact together with UiPath:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Batching Method<\/li>\n<li>Open and Run the Batch Processing Action<\/li>\n<li>Execute Non-Batch-Processing Actions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>1. Batching Method<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The most common method of using Ephesoft Transact with UiPath is the batching method.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This method puts images into an Ephesoft batch.<\/li>\n<li>The user processes the batch through the complete Ephesoft Transact workflow.<\/li>\n<li>The user exports the batch using a CSV export within the batch class export plugin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following snapshot illustrates the Ephesoft-UiPath actions that are available for download on the UI Path Marketplace: <a href=\"https:\/\/marketplace.uipath.com\/listings\/ephesoft-transact\">Transact for Ephesoft.<\/a><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_34226\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34226\" style=\"width: 361px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-34226\" src=\"https:\/\/ephesoft.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/word-image.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"361\" height=\"311\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ephesoft.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/word-image.png 361w, https:\/\/ephesoft.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/word-image-300x258.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 361px) 100vw, 361px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-34226\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Figure 1. Ephesoft Transact Actions in UiPath<\/span><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In this sample setup, all the UiPath actions use the Ephesoft REST API as an integration point.<br \/>\nThe UiPath actions supported in Ephesoft Transact in this sample setup are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Transact Scope<\/strong> \u2014 This is the authentication scope that is needed for all Transact Actions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Get All batch Instances<\/strong> \u2014 This will get all the batches of a particular batch status.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Classify Document<\/strong> \u2014 This action will classify a single file document type.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This activity supports the following image file types:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">One file to be processed (a single- or multi-page TIFF file, or a zip file containing one or more TIFF or PDF files)<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Multi-Page Extraction<\/strong> \u2014 This action will process multiple pages. If you are familiar with the Ephesoft Rest API this action uses the InitiateClassifyExtract API which returns a callback token.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This activity supports the following image file types:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">One file to be processed (a single- or multi-page TIFF file, or a zip file containing one or more TIFF or PDF files)<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Get Extraction Results<\/strong> \u2014 This action is used in conjunction with the multi-page extraction call.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Single-Page Extraction<\/strong> \u2014 This action processes a single-page document and returns document-level fields. This action uses Ephesoft REST API v2\/OcrClassifyExtract API.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This activity supports the following image file types:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">One input file of a valid file format, or a zip file containing multiple files of valid file formats.<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"post-34225-_dl7np07940c9\"><\/a>2. Open and Run the Batch Processing Action<\/h3>\n<p>Another method of using Ephesoft Transact with UiPath is to perform one or more batch processing actions.<br \/>\nTo use this method, you must sign up for UiPath Studio and download the UiPath Studio app from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uipath.com\/\">UiPath.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Perform the following steps to open and run a batch-processing action:<\/p>\n<p>1. Execute Non-Batch-Processing Actions<\/h3>\n<p>The alternate method of calling Ephesoft Transact from UiPath is an in-process type of data capture.<\/p>\n<p>This method does not put the image into an Ephesoft Transact batch.
