{"id":13668,"date":"2018-03-03T11:14:40","date_gmt":"2018-03-03T11:14:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ephesoft.com\/docs\/?p=13668"},"modified":"2021-03-04T10:05:19","modified_gmt":"2021-03-04T17:05:19","slug":"what-are-the-folders-where-customer-specific-data-is-stored","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ephesoft.com\/docs\/what-are-the-folders-where-customer-specific-data-is-stored\/","title":{"rendered":"Ephesoft Folders with Customer-Specific Data"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #333333\">This page provides a list of folders within the Transact installation directory where Transact will store data and other processed information.<\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>Database:<\/strong> All information related to Transact and batch instances.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>UNC Folder \/ Drop Folder<\/strong>: Files or sample documents uploaded by users.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>ephesoft-system folder<\/strong>: Where most files are generated when a batch instance is in the RUNNING state. This includes TIF and <strong>batch.xml<\/strong> files, among others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>final-drop-folder:<\/strong> Where the final PDF and <strong>batch.xml<\/strong> are <span class=\"il\">stored<\/span>. This can also be a user-configured location.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>report-data folder:<\/strong> Where all <strong>batch.xml<\/strong> files are <span class=\"il\">stored, with respect to each module execution. T<\/span>his is used for reporting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>Shared Folder:<\/strong> Where all batch classes are stored. Each batch class folder includes learned files for that batch class.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>temp folder<\/strong>: (JavaAppServer\/temp) Stores class files of any custom scripts in place.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>There are other temp folders where images will be temporarily saved when using document ingestion methods like <strong>Web Scanner<\/strong> and <strong>Email Import<\/strong>. These images will be ultimately moved to the UNC folder or Drop folder.
