Disabling IPv6 is only required for Ephesoft Transact versions prior to <strong>2020.1.02<\/strong>.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\">You may need to temporarily disable IPv6 in a multi-server environment of Ephesoft Transact if any of the following fails:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Heartbeat monitoring<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Failover (nodes picking up batches)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Licensing<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Transact versions that are 2020.1.03 and newer are not affected by these IPv6 issues.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333333\"><a id=\"post-47517-_1jtougactvn\" style=\"color: #333333\"><\/a>Instructions<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\">Perform the following steps to disable the IPv6 network protocol on this server. This control is available in the Windows network settings.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Go to <strong>Control Panel <\/strong>&gt; <strong>Network and Internet<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Ethernet<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">From the <strong>Ethernet<\/strong> screen, click <strong>Change adapter options<\/strong>.
