<\/a>Issue<\/span><\/h2>\n

After upgrading from 2020.1 to 2020.1.02, if Ephesoft is configured to use HTTPS\/SSL, you may experience problems accessing the Transact UI. Additionally, no relevant errors are present in the log files.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>Root Cause<\/span><\/h2>\n

This issue may occur when using double backslashes (\\\\) in your cert path in the server.xml<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>Solution<\/span><\/h2>\n

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Open the server.xml <\/strong>file in an editing program, such as Notepad++. This is located at [Ephesoft_Directory]<\/em>\\JavaAppServer\\conf.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Open the backup server.xml <\/strong>file taken before upgrading to 2020.1.02. By default, this is located at [Ephesoft_Directory]<\/em>\\Back-up-full20.20.1.0\\JavaAppServer\\conf.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Find the location of your certs file in the current server.xml<\/strong>, and compare it to your backup file.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      For example, in the current server.xml<\/strong>, you may see a path like:<\/span><\/p>\n

      keystoreFile=\"C:\\Ephesoft\\certs\\yourkey.jks<\/span><\/pre>\n

      However, in your backup server.xml<\/strong>, you should see the correct working path:<\/span><\/p>\n

      keystoreFile=\"C:\\\\Ephesoft\\\\certs\\\\yourkey.jks<\/span><\/pre>\n

      1. Update your current server.xml <\/strong>to reflect the correct path from the backup server.xml<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
