When trying to activate a license for the Nuance Form Template Editor, you may receive the following error:<\/span><\/p>\n

Error 48: Activate License: The server couldn't activate license 'XXXXX-XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XX'.<\/span><\/pre>\n

<\/a>Root Cause<\/span><\/h2>\n

License activation may fail if the licensing database is corrupted, or because of invalid licensing server IP address information. The URL used to download and activate licenses for the Nuance Form Template Editor has changed.<\/span><\/p>\n
