Applies to: <\/strong>All versions of Ephesoft Transact<\/span><\/p>\n

If batches are timing out during page processing, you may need to increase the default timeout. By default, if Recostar, Imagemagick, Ghostscript, or Tesseract take more than 30 minutes to process a batch instance, the batch will timeout and you may receive an error.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>Increase Timeout<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Perform the following steps to increase the default timeout:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Stop Ephesoft Transact.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Open the application.properties<\/strong> file, located at [Ephesoft_Directory<\/em>]\\Application\\WEB-INF\\classes\\META-INF\\.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Locate the following lines (near the bottom of the file):<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    # Wait time for Ghostscript command in minutes \r\ngs.command.wait.time=30\r\n\r\n# Wait time for ImageMagick command in minutes \r\nimageMagik.command.wait.time=30\r\n\r\n# Wait time for RecoStar command in minutes \r\nrecostar.command.wait.time=30\r\n\r\n# Wait time for Tesseract command in minutes \r\ntesseract.command.wait.time=30<\/span><\/pre>\n

    1. Set the command.wait.time <\/strong>for your applicable OCR engine(s) to the amount in minutes Transact should continue page processing prior to timing out.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Save the file.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Start Ephesoft Transact.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
