Issue:<\/b><\/p>\n
Batch instances are stuck in the <\/span>RESTART_IN_PROGRESS <\/b>status and do not restart. This is a known issue and has been resolved in Ephesoft Transact 3.1.2.9 and above.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Root Cause:<\/b><\/p>\n Batch instances may get stuck in the <\/span>RESTART_IN_PROGRESS<\/b> status due to back-end processes that do not allow Transact to complete the restart process.<\/span><\/p>\n Solution:<\/b><\/p>\n To delete a batch that is stuck in the <\/span>RESTART_IN_PROGRESS <\/b>status, alter the record for the batch instance by running the following SQL command:<\/span><\/p>\n Once the batch status has been changed,\u00a0 you can properly delete or restart the batch instance.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Issue: Batch instances are stuck in the RESTART_IN_PROGRESS status and do not restart.
