Applicable Ephesoft Transact Versions:<\/b> 4.0.2.0 or above<\/span><\/p>\n

This article provides instructions on how to recover MariaDB.<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open the <\/span>my.ini<\/b> file in the <\/span>dependencies\\mariadb<\/b> folder<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Add the following line below the port value:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      innodb_force_recovery=1<\/span><\/pre>\n
      Note: <\/b>This change should be made under the [mysqld]<\/strong> section of the my.ini<\/strong> file.<\/span><\/p>\n

      1.  Save the <\/span>my.ini<\/b> file<\/span><\/li>\n
      2.  Start the MariaDB service.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3.  Once the MariaDB service has started, check the database with a database client, which is included in Ephesoft Transact as HeidiSQL, and ensure that you are able to login.<\/span><\/li>\n
      4.  Once you confirm the ability to connect to the database, open the <\/span>my.ini<\/b> file and remove the added line in step 2.<\/span><\/li>\n
      5.  Start the Ephesoft Transact service.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
