How do I set Tomcat to automatically create a heap dump after an OutOfMemoryError?<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Navigate to [Ephesoft_Directory]<\/em>\/JavaAppServer\/bin.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Open EphesoftTransact.exe\u00a0<\/strong>(in older versions, this may be named\u00a0EphesoftEnterprise.exe<\/strong>).<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Click the Java<\/strong> tab and add the following strings to the Java Options<\/strong>:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError\r\n<\/span>-XX:HeapDumpPath=c:\\<path to heap dump folder><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/pre>\n
      Set the\u00a0<path to heap dump folder>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>to the full path location. For example, if you create a HeapDump folder under C:\\Ephesoft, use the following:<\/span><\/p>\n
