Applies to:\u00a0<\/strong>Ephesoft Transact 4.x<\/span><\/p>\n In a fresh installation, Ephesoft Transact won’t start or connect with Windows Firewall enabled.<\/span><\/p>\n Typically this will have a more pronounced effect when in a cluster. The server you are trying to start can’t connect to other components of ephesoft on other servers because of firewall restrictions. To test if this is the case, turn the firewall off for all servers involved with the Ephesoft environment.
