Issue<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

You may experience issues with Transact picking up new batches when your UNC folders are set up via Common Internet File System (CIFS) on a network-attached storage (NAS).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Root Cause<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

A limitation between jNotify and CIFS.<\/span><\/p>\n

Solution<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Turn off jNotify and enable cron job pickup.<\/span>\n
      \n
    1. Open the <\/span>folder-monitor.properties <\/b>file at <\/span>[Ephesoft_Directory]<\/span><\/i>\\Application\\WEB-INF\\classes\\META-INF\\dcma-folder-monitor.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Turn off the folder monitor jNotify switch:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      foldermonitor.jnotify_switch=false<\/span><\/pre>\n
        \n
      1. \n
          \n
        1. Set the following property to however often you wish to pick up new files (in minutes):<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          foldermonitor.cronjob_expression=<\/span><time in minutes><\/i><\/b><\/span><\/pre>\n
          Note<\/b>: We recommend keeping the cron as is, or keep it at a minimum of one minute.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

          1. Restart Ephesoft<\/span><\/li>\n
