Dramatically faster throughput, advanced reporting and new features improve  innovative Transact 4.0 Document Capture Platform and classification solution

Laguna Hills, CA., April 22, 2015 – Ephesoft Inc., creators of the industry-leading Smart Capture® advanced document capture platform, today released version 4.0 of Ephesoft Transact, the company’s  robust document classification and data extraction program for corporate and government document capture applications.

Ephesoft Transact accelerates the identification of various document types and extracts meaningful data to feed back office applications and line of business processes.  New features in 4.0 include robust reporting and analytics capabilities, advanced batch management, an enhanced user interface, and greatly improved speed and accuracy enhancements.

New features in Transact 4.0 include:

Advanced workflow engine. Transact 4.0 employs an Activiti™ Java workflow engine that increases processing capacity while reducing batch processing times compared to Ephesoft 3.1.

Revamped user interface. Transact 4.0 streamlines operational screens and messaging.  Users can also drag & drop documents into different processes.

Improved document throughput and data recognition accuracy.  Transact 4.0 introduces new data extraction methodologies that leverage positioning and contextual content to improve data recognition rates, throughput and document classification accuracy.

Powerful advanced reporting module. An advanced reporting module provides users with insightful status reports on document classification, correction and separation accuracy, and detailed field corrections. The module also features analysis grids for ad hoc reporting, what if analysis and custom reports, including integration with other reporting and content management systems.
