Classification and Data Extraction Platform Connects Mobile Devices with Document Trails for Compliance
San Jose, CA., May 11, 2016 – Ephesoft Inc. announced today the immediate availability of Transact Mobile SDK 3.1, a self-contained document capture and data extraction platform for iOS and Android devices. New features in version 3.1 include full offline document classification and data extraction, live edge detection, image cropping, enhancement filters, and multilingual on-device OCR.

Ephesoft demonstrated the Transact Mobile SDK today at Finovate Spring, in San Jose, with Mr. Kavas showing an audience of more than 1500 financial professionals how mobile users can capture the numerous documents required for a mortgage application using a smart phone. The live demonstration showed real-time document classification, data extraction and business rules enforcement to ensure that the proper documents are submitted and accurate data is captured.

The SnapDoc mobile app is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The Transact Mobile SDK, which allows developers to embed mobile document capture and classification capabilities into custom applications, is available from Ephesoft and Ephesoft authorized channel partners.
