Ephesoft currently has more than 250 partners and 550 customers worldwide. Fueled by $15 million in Series A funding from Mercato Partners in July 2017, Ephesoft’s rapid expansion plans anticipate 10-fold growth in its client base over the next two to four years.

“We are creating a dedicated global training department to ensure our clients can easily maximize our groundbreaking machine learning document capture and analytics platform that transforms unstructured content into actionable data,” said Ike Kavas, CEO of Ephesoft. “We are pleased to welcome Brad into the Ephesoft family as he brings in-depth training, technical and personal experience that will shape the education experience we offer to our growing worldwide base of partners, customers, developers and employees.”

As a priority, he will enhance the company’s live- and computer-based training to increase its interactivity and task-driven construct. He also assumes the management of Ephesoft’s quarterly training sessions, offered at the company’s headquarters in Orange County, Calif., and has already added a second week of training in Q1 2018 to keep up with demand.

“Throughout my career, I have conducted in-depth training in programming languages and systems such as C++ and Java, which give me the technical background and expertise to instruct Ephesoft’s software. I believe I will help Ephesoft further its commitment to offering unmatched technical training,” said Gillespie. “Organizations that process high volumes of high-value data can eliminate error-prone, manual processing of papers by using Ephesoft to streamline tasks, improve productivity and free up time for more important work. I’m excited to provide Ephesoft customers with the tools they need to immediately use our solutions most effectively.”

Through the power of machine learning, Ephesoft automates the process of identifying documents and extracting the valuable information they contain to accelerate purchases, invoice processing, mortgage approvals, background checks, and other important transactions. Ephesoft Transact is the only document capture and extraction software that “plays nice with other applications,” using Web Services APIs that make ERP, CRM, Content Services (previously called ECM) and back-office programs document-capture enabled.
